Any nurses that can offer advice?
I went to my appointment last week and my bp was 161/70. The lady usually makes small comments like oh good or whatever when its normal. This time, she did not. I asked if it was normal and my husband was like ehhh. But the OB didn't say anything about it. She did say I was a risk for preeclampsia because of my age (23) and she said she wanted an Ultrasound this coming week at 35 weeks, but she didn't make it seem like it wasn't routine. I guess my question is was the 161/70 reading considered normal? I've read other people that had a similar reading and were sent to the hospital for monitoring so it makes me a little nervous. I've had minor swelling in my hands as well that I plan to mention to her at my next appointment. Thanks in advance!
