Pre-Registration, Tours, Etc.

I am a first time mom and I have been watching a lot of YouTube to prepare myself for the hospital and labor. I’ve been hearing a lot about birth plans and was just wondering how you go about creating one? I also have been hearing about pre-registering at the hospital and I was wondering how you do that, as well as touring the hospital I will deliver at.

These might be dumb questions, but I am curious and as I said before a first time mom!
