Implantation bleeding first timer

Hi all

Currently 11DPO & my periods due in 2 days.

I noticed last night I had super light Pinkish spotting this morning turned into a dark brown mucus texture. I’ve also had nausea this morning. Could the nausea be related to implantation, period (never had nausea before period) or could I actually be pregnant? We’ve been trying for 3 months now for baby number 1. I’m not sure whether to take a test or not because if it’s implantation it could give a false answer? Not sure what to do 🤷🏼‍♀️
