Suggestions for Crib Mobile with Christmas lights or similar?

My baby is entranced by lights. We have a moon LED that he stares at near his crib and over the holidays he discovered the colorful christmas lights we hung in the dining area. He will be fussy until we walk him beneath them (we kept them up for him) and then he just stares at them, fascinated. He sometimes will stay calm in his pack 'n play and eventually sleep because he has a little arch with moon and clouds overhead to look at, but without lights.
I want something even more mesmerizing for his main sleeping crib. No need for music because that will just keep me awake since we room share. Any suggestions on soft, colorful lighted mobiles similar to Christmas lights but that aren't too busy looking?

My daughters crib is in mine and my husbands room, we put up these glow in the dark stars all over our ceiling. She loves them, she will lay in her crib and look at them until she falls asleep.

My bedroom has glow in the dark stars painted on the ceiling. We love it because its relaxing and not as much as the plastic stars. We didn't even paint it ourselves. The house came with it that way.

My daughter had this egg looking thing that shines a green light of stars on the ceiling. She sleeps just fine with it on. She 18 months btw. Oh and i see her looking up at it when shes in bed on her baby monitor and then falls alseep easily

If you want your child to sleep, then you shouldn't be putting all these fun, colorful lights above his crib. It's the same concept as mobiles. They're completely unnecessary and they're too stimulating. I wouldn't those in my child's room.

I personally wouldn't put lights above his crib. Lights stimulate instead of help babies get sleep. Maybe you could put them above his changing table instead? And just make sure they're off for sleep.
