Thoughts on Breast Reductions before pregnancy?

I’m really considering one (due to the fact that my boobs are gigantic and saggy. I’m 5’ 114lbs with 34DD breasts that are just overwhelming) and wanted to hear opinions from other women out there, especially if anyone has gotten one before having a baby.

I’ve always wanted one (34DDD+), but my mom told me to hold off until after kids, and she was right. After breastfeeding,y breasts came down so much in size they actually fit into cute Victoria’s Secret stuff. I may still want to do something, like a lift, but that’ll come after I’m totally done. If you plan to have kids, and plan to breastfeed, your breasts are going to go through a lot of changing. I think I’d be sad to spend that money to still wind up with saggy boobs after kids, if that makes sense.

My friend had a reduction and her milk ducts were too damaged to breastfeed.  She also had to have further surgery to fix them after.  That being said, as a small framed 34DD also, I don’t blame you for wanting a reduction.

If you think they’re huge now, just wait. I was a 32DDD pre-pregnancy and now nursing my second baby I am a 34K. Looking back I think a triple D was small now. 
I’m definitely waiting until I’m done having kids and breastfeeding to get a reduction. I wouldn’t want the surgery to prevent me from nursing, and I would hate to go through it all only to end up back where I stated or bigger. Plus when you get a reduction you by default get a bit of lift and I’m definitely going to appreciate that lift more afterwards.

I have no idea but pregnancy changes breasts for sure.. it would be crappy if you got the surgery first and then went thru pregnancy & they end up saggy after getting corrective surgery?

My aunt did this. She was unable to breastfeed and ended up with a lot of pain from her scars when her breasts got bigger during pregnancy. It’s best to wait until you’re sure you’re done having kids because they will get bigger during pregnancy and may not go back to the surgically smaller size.
