Little man couldn't wait
My little man decided he could wait for his due date(2/21) and made his appearance on January 18th at 8:56 am.
My water broke at 1:30am at home, I told my husband and my mom that I thought my water broke. My husband got the hospital bags and we left.
By the time we got to the hospital I was 3cm dilated, my blood pressure was up slightly, but baby's heart rate was less than great. They debated on sending us to a bigger hospital with a NICU but I was progressing to quickly, so they got me my epidural.
Once I was 10cm the pushing begin. After 3 pushes it was clear that baby was in sever distress so I was rushed to the OR for an emergency c section. Baby flat lined on the way to the OR so they started the operation before anyone could join me. His head was stuck in the birth canal and the had to push him back up. Once he was out they got him to cry very quickly.
They monitored him from the time he was born till 1pm and the I finally got to hold my boy!
Besides a bit of jaundice and being early, he is healthy and happy.
19inchs long 5#9oz
And he shares his birthday with his 3 year old cousin.
Update: baby is doing great still, he's eating wonderfully. However Sunday(1/27) night around 11:30 pm I woke up from my nap (daddy and nana were watching baby) and the second I sat up I could feel blood coming out. Long dramatic story short my husband had my mom come down, who called ems to come get me. I spent 38 hours in the hospital and recived 2 units of blood. I'm now home with baby and doing good.
The Dr said that basically the scab that forms when the placenta attaches fell off too soon and caused the bleeding.
