New Beau suffered MAJOR LOSS, what to do??

I had met this guy and we were soo compatible.. I just loved everything about him and even found myself thinking about him when I was on a date with someone else (I was dating from tinder) and that’s when I knew I wanted to just date him exclusively.. so a week after meeting each other for the first time we had that chat to be exclusively in a relationship.. so a week after that his grandmother whom he was caring for passed away.. and now the relationship has taken a major setback.. I’ve never had someone die on a person whom I was dating but I’m very familiar with deaths so to me it’s nothing, I hurt a bit but I know I’ll see the beloved in heaven.. I’m trying to reach out to him and let him know if he needs anything he can call and what not..

what is it that I should do other than live my life and text hi once a day (in different ways of course)?
