Why Me? I Hate My Life Right Now

Question

I had my daughter 1.19.19 at 27 weeks.. how did/ do you mommy's deal with your baby in the NICU? &' when did you give birth &' how long was baby there? 
This is stressing me out &' depressing me! I'm always thinking like what could I have done differently! Smh

I really hope this doesn’t come off as harsh or heartless but here’s my view about the NICU...I had a baby at 21 weeks in April who lived for 2 hours. She didn’t even have a chance at living because she was born so early. Before this I remember thinking how terrible the NICU would be and how hard it would be to have to go through that but now I would give anything for my sweet baby girl to have had a chance at being in the NICU 😕 Obviously life experiences change your views on things and I am not trying to down play how hard/stressful/emotional having a baby in the NICU has to be because I couldn’t imagine that either but maybe try to look at it as my baby has a fighting chance! We just have to get through this then I’ll have my baby! I dont know...Obviously other NICU moms will have better advice than me 😕

I had my daughter 1/25/19 at 29+3! So not quite so early but close! Im reeling, and the pumping every 2 hours is a pain, and I feel like my body failed her. I hope it gets better soon, for all of us! Im sending so much love your way!!!

I've had 2 premies now in my life both spent time in the Nicu no matter how stressing it got the nurses and doctors always try and make it positive experience.  My first was 13 years ago I was inducted at 34 weeks due to waters leaking he spent a month in the Nicu.  Now my third baby just this year came at 32 weeks due to extreme preeclampsia and liver failure and she was breathing on her own after a emergency c section spent 5 weeks in the Nicu she is now 6 months and doing really well.  I hope this gelps

My baby girl was born on 1/1/19 at 27 weeks!!! How crazy is that? With that being said girl I completely relate. I have been so depressed and scared and worried this whole time and don't get me started on pumping every 2 hours! It's also my last semester of college and too late to drop out because I've paid for it already. So I feel you!! I'm just trying to take it a day at a time and am just so thankful that she is doing so well at such a young age. Please inbox me and we can help each other get through this, we are after all in the same exact boat!

Colette was born at 3lbs 14oz at 35 weeks with Intrauterine growth-restriction, I had preeclampsia and GD. 
I was hospitalized 4times (almost 5) 
I felt at ease knowing she was being monitored around the clock by a team of professionals. I attended rounds and learned to care for her. I was more scared to leave the NICU because I had no way of monitoring her that closely.
