Can we use the name Nathan?

Our sons name is Mason, we love the name Nathan if our second is a boy. I’m not sure if we can use that name though as they kind of sound similar. I definitely don’t like Nathaniel either. My husband thinks it’s totally fine but I’m just not sure.

My name is Nathan, and Mason is one of the names that people hear when I introduce myself or say my name over the phone. That and Jason/Ethan. Definitely will cause some confusion imo

If you like it, go for it. It's not like you're naming them both Mason or both Nathan. That, I'd recommend you not do. But otherwise, I say why not?

One of my best friends have a Mason and Nathan. At first I thought it was too similar too but now they are so nice to say together and I think they work great together.

I have three K sound names with my kids kia, cayden and kaleb and then a skylar lol i call the boys the wrong name all the time when talking fast lol i think they cute names together
