When to install car seat?

Question

I’m a STM and for the life of me can’t remember when we installed the car seat! I know the risk if you get in an accident, the car seat would need replacing. 
We have a 5 yo (my step son, not with us every day) who will be moved to the third row and a 1.5 yo in the other captain seat. 
I’m 37 weeks, first baby came at 38w5d. Should I install soon? I can’t decide 😂

We installed the base at 37, the actual seat is still in the house next to the bags

I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow and still haven't put in the base. I guess I should do that. This should let everyone know how prepared I am. 😂

I just installed mine base and all! I know if we got into an accident I’d have to replace it, but I’m not really worried about that since insurance covers it! I can easily go to target or Walmart to replace it! I’m 36 weeks today!

I have the car seat sitting beside my bags so when I need to grab my bags I’ll just put the car seat in the car and then install it later on after the baby is born the day were Ready to come home.

I installed the car seat base at 38 weeks - ya never know ! 🤷🏻‍♀️🙂

Just install the base so if you get into a car accident you only have to replace the base.
