Spotting & headaches

I have been trying to conceive for around 12 months now with no luck, I have a regular 26 day cycle and ovulate around the same time each month!

My period was due two days ago and I have had slight spotting for three days only when I wipe and not all the time!

I have taken a test which was negative I’m so confused as my period has never been late before!

Have also had headache/migraine for four days never had anything like this before I could even work today!
