Did/do you plan to skip NIPT?

I don't know if I want to do this testing because it's just a screening and can be inaccurate anyway. I'm 13 weeks and I just don't know. The screening is $300.

Im choosing not to do it I will love my baby regardless and nothing really runs in my family so i have np reason to believe anything cpuld be wrong i feel its just un necessary anxiety

It’s the blood test where you can find out gender if you want though too! 🤷🏻‍♀️

I didn't do it its not gonna change the outcome. We decided it's our child no matter what. We are instead using that money for things we need for me and the baby. Honestly I think it's over kill and just a cause of un necessary stress also. It's up to you what you want to do.

We did the little blood test just for the trisomies when we did the nuchal translucency scan. But we didnt do the whole panel because it wasnt covered. My sister opted not to with her second because her first came up as highly at risk and then nothing ended up wrong with her.

We chose to not do it either pregnancy. And I don’t think this is the test that tells you gender, so it really wasn’t worth it

We skipped the first trimester testing because insurance did not cover it. They cover the second trimester screening which we obviously did instead.
