C-section

Hi ladies! I found out yesterday that I have a very rare pregnancy complication (1.1% of single baby pregnancies, what a shitty lottery to win😂) and in all likelihood I will have to have a c-section. I want to hear from women who have had a c-section before; I want to hear about pain, recovery, and taking care of a newborn while healing. I'm honestly scared to death and feeling a huge amount of sadness that I may not be able to do what my body should be able to. Any personal stories, both good and bad would help me greatly. Thanks!
