Where the hell do I start?

Ok so I’m 9 weeks pregnant today and my family said start baby shopping now makes it easier in The long run.. I don’t wanna buy the buggy or crib yet but what should I start of with? I’m about to order a little Neutral set from carters but any help would be appreciated this is my first baby

I didn’t buy I think until after I found out the gender and even then it wasn’t much. I bought way more after my baby shower at 34w

I wouldn’t go crazy just yet. You haven’t had your baby shower yet!

Some of the first things I would buy would be the larger, gender neutral items like crib and stroller, highchair that sort of stuff. I still wouldn't start shopping until you are safely in the second trimester though.

I started with my first day I found out. But with body products and nappies... Ect.. And once I knew gender clothes... It does help out a lot in the long run.

Some people prefer new stuff I say go for it if you have the money but I think there's so many clothes at goodwill and stuff (onsies usually $.99 pants and sleepers $2 or less ) why buy brand new stuff that they ink wear a handful of times before they grow out of it? That being said I've only spent maybe $50 on clothes from NB-12mo and 75% of it is neutral! (Also had tons and tons donated to me , I love free!)  you can buy wipes ! I buy a huge box of sensitive wipes every month. But "stuff" wise I'd wait till after your shower if you're having one. We had a neutral shower and asked people to please not buy clothes , and had our gender reveal at the very end so it forced everyone to bring neutral gifts. Worked out perfectly! We ended up will all the "stuff" we needed and we have more clothes than this baby could possibly use ! All in all we've spent  MAYBE $250 and he's set !!! Even have about 2,000 diapers which should last around 6 months!

I’m not buying anything till I find out the gender at 20weeks. Most people do the same

You start a registry so you can figure out what you need and keep an eye on prices. I’m waiting till my registry’s discount starts so I can get a deal on the furniture I want. I didn’t start buying much till after 16 weeks. I’d start researching products though.

I would wait until your a little further along but if there is a good sale on anything you think you would use get it. Clothes (all sizes not just new born), crib sheets, towels, diapers, wipes, bottles, baby wash, laundry soap, blankets, etc 🙂

I don’t think I would buy much just save money. Diapers and wipes are something you need a ton of so you could always buy those. People might give you stuff and some things you don’t know what your baby will like until they are here (ie bottles, pacifiers, teething toys).
