I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks on December 28th, 2018. I went to ER two days prior and i was told it was a "threatened miscarriage". Then two days later, while at work, i had the miscarriage. I had a follow-up appt for that day, so my supervisor sent me home early, due to losing the baby. They did an ultrasound to confirm. Then two days later my husband brought me to the ER again because I was hemorrhaging. So they did an emergency d&c. Well exactly 4 weeks after the miscarriage i got my period. It's day 3 of my period and its been so heavy. Almost like a miscarriage again, that amount of blood. I am passing huge clots as well and cramps were bad at the beginning, but not anymore. Is this normal for a first period after a miscarriage? I have to wear ultra super pads. Luckily, my doctor took me out of work for 4 weeks. There's no way I could work with this heavy period. Anyone else experience this?
