He always falls asleep

I have a newer bf. He lives bout a half hour away. He comes over sometimes at night when my sons asleep like 9pm after i put him to bed. Half the time he says he will come over then falls asleep and doesn't text me til the next day. I know he needs sleep but i hate looking forward to seeing someone and then being disappointed constantly. Input? Suggestions? I'm not comfy with him meeting my son yet.

I AM comfy with this guy. But my kid has a dad. And I'm not trying to confuse him with a bunch of guys coming in and out of his life. I am actually being very responsible by not introducing him until i am sure we are going to work out.
