Pregnancy after a d&c .

Hi ladies ,

I lost my boy at 17 weeks.. and had a d&c on December 8th. AF just came back last week and I’m wondering if I should start trying .. doctor said she prefers I wait 2 cycles but I’m very anxious to have a new beginning .. has anyone here gotten pregnant after 1 cycle and had a healthy and full term pregnancy? I’ve been so confused with all the I formations online it doesn’t seem very clear to me if there’s even a risk associated with this ???
