did anyone else find mat leave boring

so i started my mat leave yesterday only because on friday a student that i transport kicked me in the stomach (by accident) and sent the baby into stress mood and i was having early signs of contractions so my boss told me it’s time to start mat leave early :( 
but omg i find sitting at home so boring, i’ve cleaned my house at lease 15 times since yesterday, i’ve taken naps to lol and i have my bag and her bag plus room already to go!! so now what

Well, I basically live on this app during the day so I have to agree that it is super boring.

Look. I know it’s boring. But let me tell you, I’m 3 kids in. (Well 3rd baby due soon) and I remember when I was able to clean my house, take naps, etc when I wanted. 
And I sometimes miss those days dearly. Remember when baby is born this type of “you” time will be a distant memory. 
Enjoy it love. I know you’re extremely pregnant and probably miserable (I am) but enjoy it. Savor it! Good luck to you and hope you and baby have a safe smooth delivery!

I’m loving it!  I let a lot of chores and tasks build up before mat leave started.
I have a routine that I am trying to follow (and it’s summer where I am):
Breakfast
Exercise - half hr moderate and half hr walk the dog
Chores - spend a couple of hours doing chores from my loong list
Lunch - make something healthy, try and use up my almost expired fridge and pantry products.
Nap in the afternoon for a couple of hours
Make dinner / tidy the house
I also have something scheduled almost days, whether it’s a Drs appointment or coffee with a friend or a workman coming over to fix something. 
Some days all I want to do is nap though!

Take the time to learn something new! With my 4th baby I learned how to crochet. This time around, #5 and 2 years later, I've been able to create so many cool and useful things. It's relaxing and you can do it while using your birthing ball! If not that then find something you've thought about trying. You've got nothing but time and this 2 week wait (approx) seems to be worse for me than the 2 at the beginning for anxiety!

Yes!! I’m starting week 3 of Mat leave and I am SO BORED ! I’m trying to walk, read, nest, have lunch & coffee dates with friends. But on those days where I’m alone... I’m so lonely !!

Me! I’m kind of worried about going stir crazy during my maternity leave. 
I’m the type of person that really enjoys being at work. When I had a two week vacation for winter, I was like “what now...?”

I just sleep and try to sleep more and try to sleep some more .. and like the other gal said - sit on this app, also rotate through the other 2 social media apps. I have been on leave or almost 5 weeks... yes . It is borning.

I just feel like there’s always something else to get done for the baby... I do those things... I got a mani/pedi today.  I’m just trying to enjoy the relaxation.  I don’t know if you have any other kids... but the relaxation is about to come to an end so I’m enjoying all the things I take for granted... like sleep... eating out... running to the store easily.
