I’ve been bf and my nipples have become so tender and started to crack. I had a lactation consultant help me bf at the hospital and she told me LO was sucking wrong and helped me adjust. It’s been several days and my nipples are still cracked and haven’t healed. Will they eventually heal ? The initial sucking LO does is excruciating but after a minute the pain is bare able but still uncomfortable. I’m thinking my nipples will heal but then again it’s so painful idk if they ever will. 😔😫 I’ve been using creams and balms on them but they aren’t healing.
