Evening primrose oil to help regulate ovulation and periods?

If no please comment something I can take to help regulate my periods and ovulation. I got a positive opk or what I thought was a positive and then I started spotting then I have starting bleeding like a period.

I've been taking maca and vitex... It regulated my period within the first month of taking it I'm normally any where from 35-38 CD this past cycle was only 28!

I tried evening primrose but it didn't help me but 1 cycle on vitex and I can already notice the difference maybe try that?
