False positive OPK? Thoughts?

Can you get a false positive? Took the second one yesterday around 5pm and was shocked I’ve never had such a dark test line before. The third one was about an hour later since I didn’t believe it and it’s clearly negative...  Any thoughts?

Definitely a weird test... Bottom two are from last night and tonight. Also had a jump in BBT this morning so 🤞🙏🙏

Since opks technically only resisters an LH surge and don’t confirm ovulation is occurring, they are inherently notorious for false positives. Keep testing with opks at this point since it’s a tad early and it changed so rapidly. And start tracking your BBT to confirm that ovulation occurred.

How long are your cycles? Yes, you can get a false positive. I even got one using a Digi OPK. I confirmed ovulation with bbt a week later.

I’ve never had a false positive. That is strange it went away so quickly, but some people do have short surges.
