January 27th, I got to the hospital at 7:30am. Got a room at 8am. Started pitocin around 9am, got foley balloon put in at 10am. They checked for progress at 11am and 12pm, and at 1pm finally balloon was pulled out. Shortly after I got an epidural, at 4cm. At 4pm I was relaxing and waiting on another progress check. Checked at 5pm and I'm at 5cm. Another check at 6:30pm almost to 6cm, baby is transverse, trying to get him to rotate... Checked at 9pm, still transverse, 6cm, doing hands and knees to try to rotate baby checked a few more times, last time checked at 1:30am still no progress.. I decided to do a c-section as the safest way to get him out. Was born January 28th, 2019 at 4:09AM weighing 8lbs 11oz and was 19.5 inches long!! Cameron Robert King 💙
