my boyfriend is transgender, so he has a female body. he’s been very serious about this for about five years, and i’m probably the most serious person you’ll ever find on this topic. i breakdown every single time i think of the pain he had to endure with his gender dysphoria. how do i deal with people that are purposely transphobic towards me? i’ve had people call me “desperate for dating a tr****”, a “fa****”, and more. we’ve been dating for almost 6 months now and every time someone is transphobic straight to my face, i simply cant handle it. my little heart breaks. how should i handle transphobic comments towards the one i love most?
