So scared...

Alycia

I woke up this morning to a big gushing feeling. I went to the bathroom and it was blood. :( I immediately went to the ER. They gave me a rogahm shot as I am -rh. And did a ultrasound. The baby was quite active and had a heartbeat of 163. They decided to do a transvaginal ultrasound and discovered I had bleeding from two sources. One one side below the baby I am hemoraging, and on the other side my placenta has moved down and is blocking my cervix. Known as placenta previa. I was told I needed to contact a specialist and that my pregnancy was now 'high risk" I was put on bed rest as well as pelvic rest. During my hospital visit they had me give a urine sample which came back fine and I hadn't noticed any more bleeding. But since my visit I've been bleeding heavily, which I'm hoping is from the transvaginal ultrasound. This is my 5th pregnacy... having lost all others around 6-8 weeks. Today I am 15w2d. The furthest any of my pregnancies have been. I'm extremely scared of what the outcome could be. There's nothing more I want then to have this baby. Has anyone else experienced this and went on to give birth? The Dr says I can't lose hope but it's just so hard not to. Then to get to see it today moving and squirming around, sucking it's thumb...then it not be there... I just want to have this baby. :(
