MMR booster

My one year old already had his first MMR vaccine, and I know technically he’s supposed to wait until kindergarten to get the booster.

But with the measles out break spreading through Oregon I’m terrified of him getting it.

Is anyone else considering getting the booster early? I’ve read as long as it is 28 after the first one that it’s okay to get the booster.

I’m really considering it in case the first shot didn’t take, but i also don’t want to overwhelm his little system.

What do some other mamas think?
