When does the brain develop?

Okay I'm 4 weeks and 1 day. I stopped smoking cigs the day I found out which is about 3 days ago. Could that effect the baby being so early?

I know people who’ve smoked cigarette the whole pregnancy and baby was fine. Saying that though I don’t recommend and I’m so happy that you quit so early! With my first I didn’t know I was pregnant until 14 weeks and I smoked until then. I quit cold turkey at 14 weeks and my child doesn’t have any issues, but I was lucky because it could’ve caused problems. It’s just like people who smoke right now, some may live to be 100 and some may develop lung cancer at 30.. you just never know! You will be fine! You did great!
