Latching issues

So this of course is my first baby he is currently two weeks old I’ve been having a few issues breast feeding and had to start supplementing about a week now, lately I’ve been giving him the boob more but he doesn’t open his mouth very wide once he’s on I don’t have pain can anyone give any suggestions
