Biological father advice!! Please help

So I’m gonna try and make this short. I’ve never met my biological father. He signed away his rights and I know he was heavily addicted to drugs for a long time and in and out of jail. I’m 18 with a baby on the way now and he recently just got out of prison and has tried to contact me. He claims he has made some dumb decisions but he’s trying to get his life on track and he would like to meet me and be in my life as well as my sons. I honestly have no clue what to do in this situation. Part of me wants to meet him just because he is my biological father but in all honesty I don’t want anyone who has anything to do with drugs around my son. I don’t even talk to my own mother because she chose to do drugs and abandon me when I was 13. This is a really hard situation & I’m feeling torn. Does anyone have any advice? Would you meet him if you were in this situation?
