How much whole milk in a day?

We were told by the pediatrician however much milk he will take in a day.. and now I looked online and it says between 6-12 ounces a day. I am so confused now 🤷🏻‍♀️

My pediatricians rule was milk only  with meals and unlimited water whenever. We have a water cup that’s just always available

My son has been drinking 3 sometimes 4 oz cups of milk a day. He eats really good and just loves milk. I don’t like cutting him off unless he has constipation issues.

My pediatrician said no more than 24oz a day. He said anything less than that is fine. My LO is not much of a milk lover. He has only been drinking about 10oz a day so I give him yogurt and cheese every day which he loves. My pediatrician told me as long as I get the vitamin d/calcium in some how it's all good lol he is a good eater though so my pediatrician wasn't concerned.

My peds said 20 oz a day.  He still take bottles at nap and bed time.  Plus one during the night then water offered all day. He's at 24oz a day. He on homo and formula mix still as I have alot of formula left. 🤷‍♀️

I asked her pediatrician the same question yesterday. He said that as long as she's not filling up on milk and refusing real food, we don't have to limit her milk intake. If she's starting refuse food because she's filling up on milk, then we should limit it to two to three cups a day.
