How do you sleep with a newborn at home

My baby is 3 days old and we have not seem to have figured out how to sleep. My husband and I are trying to take shifts but with me breastfeeding and the baby wanting to cluster feed my sleeping time is bare minimum. I’m terrified to have both husband and I sleeping while baby sleeps and we miss something or don’t wake up when he cries. Right now I have him placed in a stand still bassinet on his back with a blanket tucked in and pacifier in his mouth.
