Can you lose the mucous plug in pieces?

I’ve been having a lot of thick, slimy, creamy colored “discharge” but it comes out in globs. Is this my mucous plug?

Yes you can lose it in pieces. Normally you lose chucks of it for weeks before labor.

My due date is actually tomorrow lol I had some blood when I wiped about 2 weeks ago but it wasn’t really bad, and it didn’t look “wet” if that makes sense. Wasn’t sure if that was my bloody show or not. But today I’ve had the discharge. Guessing this baby isn’t wanting to come out and play anytime soon 😥

Yes you can. You can actually lose it throughout and then it will regrown. But if you are weeks away from labor it is probably just being lost slowly. I didn’t lose mine slowly, I only had the bloody show. But my friend slowly lost hers over a week before having her kid.
