Guy troubles?

So I’m 16 and I’ve never had a boyfriend because my dad is really strict and all, but recently my mom told me that I’m allowed to date and I really want to but I’m terrible at talking to guys. I am kind of “talking” to a guy right now, but I just don’t know what to say and I always feel a little intimidated talking to guys nowadays because most of them have already done sexual things and I haven’t even had my first kiss yet? 
How do I put myself out there?

Hey girl! Just so you know my parents were also very strict with me and I didn’t have any experiences until I was 17. My first kiss was a complete accident at 17. 
When it comes to guys it’s important that you know what you want. At your age, its all about getting to know someone and hanging out. I don’t know a lot of people who get into serious relationships pretty early on. But you never know some people just click. 
To answer your question, to put yourself out there I would maybe suggest making new friends. Like meeting your friends friends. And introducing yourself etc. if you get invited to parties make sure to make friends that way, adding on Snapchat etc. a lot of people slide up on snap stories and start talking there! 
But anyways, do take your time! And enjoy every moment of it, and in terms of experience that’s why it’s important you know what you want, if you know that the guy is strictly looking for something sexual you’ll already know where you stand, if he’s looking for something less than that and just getting to know you, you’ll know where you stand. Just be careful, and once again take your time and talk to your friends!
