Breastfeeding Life

I just wanna shoutout to all our exclusively breastfeeding mommies... I don’t think anyone understands how demanding it is. I gave up my life for the first year of my sons life to provide milk for him. I literally didn’t have time for pedicures (in his younger months), hair appointments, family dinners, etc. Please don’t let anyone make it seem like it’s a “must”, we chose to breastfeed over formula and it’s a tough choice.

My son is now almost 3 (has been weaned since 2) and I just look back on how much I missed in my own life to make sure he had on demand boob, and it ain’t easy.

Props to all my fellow EBF mommies.. I feel your struggle and I feel your pain. Sometimes we need that extra motivation on the days we feel like giving up in life. And to the moms that think it’s easy, good for you.
