Are you supposed to have pain during sex?

I have pain during sex when my SO goes deep. I feel it in my stomach like a sharp annoying aching pain. It’s not comfortable at all and I make him slow down. I think I might have endometriosis and trying to look more into it. But idk if the pain I’m feeling is normal or what. And I also have sex regularly so it’s not because I’m just now starting to have sex.

Most likely he is hitting your cervix. They can be very sensitive! Deep penetration positions make it much more likely that he will hit it. After having mine hit I can have a cramps like feeling and sometimes even some light nausea.

Sharp pain, no. If it’s a bit uncomfortable occasionally because of a position, pressure, or intensity, that happens. But if it happens all or most of the time and it’s very sharp, definitely not meant to happen, you may want to talk to your doctor or OBGYN about it and see if there is an underlying issue like you mentioned.
