Sleep paralysis?

So I know sleep paralysis is diagnosed by a doctor and I know it’s when you wake up and people see things but I have this problem where I wake up but can’t even move my eyelids to open them. So I’m completely conscious but I’m stuck in my body. Anyone else have this?

I’ve had it happen a few times. And it’s terrifying. 
The last one was about 3 years ago.  I fell asleep on the living room couch. I dreamt I woke up, and went into the bathroom with a headache. So I was looking in the mirror at the sink, intending to splash my face with water. I see in the mirror, a figure behind the shower curtain. I turn around and it was an alien. It had the big eyes, oversized head, thin body and everything. It’s lower part of the face was smaller and it’s cranium was huge. It reached out and touched my head. 
Bam. I wake up on the couch. My head feelings like it’s splitting and I can’t move. I must have turned in my sleep because I was facing the back of the couch and only saw the couch material. I was stuck, I couldn’t move anything. 
Once I was able to come out of it I had a real headache and took some ibuprofen. 
I was home alone, and did wait for someone else to be home before I went in the bathroom. I was in my late 20s, but that nightmare combined with sleep paralysis scared the shit out of me. 
I’ve had quite a few other episodes of sleep paralysis. My first one was when I was 10 years old.

Omg yes!!! Its so scary... this used to happen to me when I was in my teens 10 yrs ago and used to scare the shhhhh outta me... it recently happened couple months ago again... it's a scary thing to me bc it feels like something demonic... I hate it  and everytime I'm going thru it at the moment I feel so much fear....  one way to make it stop is to Not sleep on your back....  does anyone know how this is treated or how do doctors help you with this ????
