Do I back down as a bridesmaid?

My friend has 3 bridesmaids which includes me.! 
Yesterday I found out I'm pregnant! I'm so happy! My friends know I've been trying for a long time. However, my due date is her wedding day and it's a long drive to the venue...while im thrilled I'm finally expecting, I dont think I'm going to be able to attend the wedding.
Ill be 5 months for her bachelorette party but were flying and obviously I wont be drinking and I won't want to go to a club where people are packed like sardines with loud music....
What should I do? I dont want to upset her but what choice do I have!?

Yes. Though no reason you can’t still do the bachelorette. My best friend wasn’t able to come to my wedding because she had a baby 2.5 months before. I had a destination wedding and it would’ve been stressful for them to plan to travel then. I think it would’ve been fine and I’m really sad that she wasn’t there, but I’m also a big girl and get that there are many things more important than my wedding. At the end of the day. It’s just a party.

I would go to the bachelorette party.. but not the wedding.. it’s just impossible.. and to show how much u love her.. maybe plan something special for just the two of u.. like spa days or a weekend away.

One of my bridesmaids got pregnant a month after I asked her to be in my wedding. Her due date was 3 days after my wedding so I totally understood when she said she couldn’t be a bridesmaid anymore.  Thankfully we were lucky enough that she was still able to attend as a guest! I’m sure your friend will understand and be so excited for you!

My MOH got pregnant. Due 3 days after my wedding. I actually moved my wedding date as nothing had been set in stone yet. I had that opportunity. 
She might not be as mad ig you talk to her first and explain the situation.

If your due date just talk to her the bachelorette party could still be fun but the big thing here is you won’t be allowed to travel even if the baby hasn’t come yet, if it has who wants to take a brand new baby into a crowd not to mention how you’ll feel
