Friend had a Possible miscarriage

Hello,

My friend is about 12-13 weeks along in her pregnancy. She had blood and a bean sized “blood piece” come out last night. Then she didn’t bleed any more after that other than minor spotting. When I found out I immediately came over and just held her.

We don’t know if it’s a miscarriage because it’s a Sunday and we can only go to ER which is expensive. But what I’ve read online it probably is. She will find out Monday once the doctors office actually opens.

Any advise to emotionally support her? For all of you that had a miscarriage, what did you wish your friends did (or didn’t) do?
