Cervical position at 5 weeks?

Have a TMI question but I'm early on in my first pregnancy and freaking out a bit. Got my BFP this week at DPO13. Had some cramping/soreness in lower back and abdomen, followed by scant brown spotting, which has lessened after a few hours. I was curious what my cervical position would be like at 5 weeks and it seems to be low, soft and open. What experiences have you had with cervical checks and early pregnancy?

This is a thing huh? I’ve never checked my cervix. I got my positive test and I’m just here for the ride hah

So I found out at 3weeks 6 days... and My cervix was initially closed and way high.
Then, the next week, there was spotting and my cervix seemed low, and open with brown spotting. I was panicked. 
I learned the spotting is normal, especially when newly pregnant. Some people spot during they’re expected period time... and that so was the cervix. 
Because other than to see where you are in your cycle, the cervix is a terrible indicator of early pregnancy. It apparently just sort of does what it wants sometimes. It figures it out eventually....
Also, quit sticking your fingers up there. You’re pregnant, no need to check cervical position anymore. The more you check, the more you freak yourself out, and the more likely you are to introduce harmful bacteria (and get an infection).
And if you’re panicked, call and ask your doctor about it.
