Are single sex schools more effective than co-ed schools?

Well, unless you join a convent life isn’t single sex.

There was some study done saying girls learn better in female only classes but boys learn worse in male only classroom. Their conclusion was in mixed classrooms female children don't do quite as well but they help temper male children and male children noticeably benefit from mixed classrooms. 
Based on that research, the question should be is it ethical to make female children risk a poorer education so the male children will get a better education.

I know a couple of girls who went to al all girls school and they have major social anxiety around men, and honestly they’re pretty fucked up.
It’s unrealistic, and unnecessary to have single sex schools. They’re going to feel completely overwhelmed when they enter the real world.

Why portray the idea that an individual learns better in same sex environments??? I dont see any benefits from it. It seems pike it could be misleading for a young individual

I don’t think it matters much as far as curriculum. However, the kids will not learn the social aspect of dealing with the opposite sex. They are being robbed of the interpersonal skills required to deal with other people in the workplace, or just life in general

It has been researched that girls turned to learn better in all girl environments and boys do better with girls. I think single sex schools are good. For my kid when they stop homeschooling I would said them to a single sex school

I actually kinda liked going to an all girls school. I liked having a uniform too. But I do see why people don’t like them

I think it really depends, for me if I went to an all girls school i don’t think I would have done as well as being in mixed gender school, I never got along with girls, I was always playing football with the boys, climbing trees etc. And around girls I felt like I never fitted in so I was always quite paranoid and still can be at times 🤷🏼‍♀️
