Hypothyroidism and pregnancy?

Did some of you got pregnant with hashimoto's syndrome? I'm very worried about getting pregnant with my autoimmune condition because I think it's high risk for the baby and me. I'm currently not trying to conceive but someday I want to start a family with my SO. Any tips or advice? Thanks!!

I have hashimotos. I’m currently 4w1d. I just need to have my blood drawn more often so my meds can keep up with my hormones during the pregnancy.

My SIL has it and she’s currently pregnant in her 2nd trimester. She’s had no issues thus far.

I would talk to your OB and endocrinologist about potential risks when you're ready to TTC. I don't have hashimoto's, but I do have hypothyroidism. I have had two healthy pregnancies. As for my dosage of levothyroxine, they monitored my levels through my pregnancy, but they go back to normal levels and I don't need to take medicine while pregnant. Then I go to hyperthyroidism for 2/3 months PP and then fall back to hypo and need to.go back on meds. Even my endocrinologist hasn't ever heard of it happening lol.

My mama has hypo & was diagnosed at 17. Had me at 29 and my brother at 32. She never had fertility issues got pregnant on the first cycle with each of us. Never had a miscarriage and was never considered high risk- but on that note she has never had insulin resistance or any other issues like GD, or high BP. 
All of her cousins, aunts and her grandmother all have some sort of thyroid disease idk if my family is just lucky but their autoimmune disease haven’t affected any of their fertilities or pregnancies 🤷🏻‍♀️ 
I’m type 1 diabetic and I’m the first person in my family to have a high risk pregnancy, good luck 💖

I have hypothyroidism but not hashimotos. I’ve had 2 healthy pregnancies. You have to have your levels checked and your dose adjusted pretty often. But as long as you keep up with that and keep your levels in the target range, it should be good!

I have Hashimoto’s and I was completely unaware until after I had my daughter. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism around 12 yo. Ended up pregnant with my daughter at 21 and sucessfully carried her full term. She’s had zero problems and is a healthy, happy 18mo. It was until after my pregnancy that I was diagnosed with Hashi’s although I had all the same symptoms for a couple years prior. 
My friends mother also has Hashimoto’s and carried 3 babies successfully! Hope this helped :)
