Anyone in California going on disability before baby comes?

I don’t see my doc until Wednesday, but I’m going to ask about starting disability at 36 weeks since I’m so uncomfortable, tired, etc.  Anyone else starting disability as soon as they can??  Did your doc sign off no problem, or did they require you to have some sort of complication?

I started mine at 36 weeks. I heard 4 weeks before due date is standard

36 is the standard and since thats what the law states they shouldn't give you any problems. 
I just started mine a couple weeks ago at 32 weeks. Preterm symptoms. Was expecting to go out at 36 but other things happened. Luckily I had been my manager up to date on what was before.

Normal. For state SDI disability begins at 36 weeks for a non complicated pregnancy.

My doc let me atart last week at 34 weeks 5 days. Im a delivery driver and i told him i couldnt take the stress of the kob. It was killing my back lol so he let me go early.
