Weirdo husband

Last night, I woke up with severe nausea and heartburn. I might have waited too long to eat my snack. I hurried to the kitchen trying to find something to snack on. I was miserable. My husband walks up to me and stands next to me not saying a word, just watching me struggle as I tried to make PBJ sandwiche (only things that helps). What weird man? A normal person would ask..."are you okay?, can I help?"

We have been married for 5yrs and I am becoming more aware of his lack of empathy and understanding . This is our 2nd child. With first one, I assumed he didnt know what to do.

This man is book smart. He is a well regarded scientist but seems to lack common sense.
