First cold sore during pregnancy?

Anyone get a cold sore for the first time (primary infection) during pregnancy (specifically during 3rd tri) and delivered a healthy baby?
I know recurrent cold sores don’t pose much of a risk but if it’s a first infection it’s riskier. 
I’m 36 weeks and have a cold sore and am overthinking trying to remember if I’ve had a cold sore before in the past or if it’s my first one??

It’s fine! No danger to your baby. Now, if you get one after you have baby, just be cautious about kissing baby and washing hands.

I don’t know why you wouldn’t have a healthy baby a cold sore is on your lip not genitals. Usually the only risk is if you have genital herpes and an out break near the end of pregnancy. But even then your dr can put you on medicine to be able to deliver vaginally. Just don’t kiss your baby with an outbreak or if you feel tingling on your lip. I get cold sores

I don’t have any experience with that personally but if call your ob. They may want to put you on valtrex to keep baby safe at birth.
