So I’m due with my first baby girl in early June so we decided to have another baby shower. Well my sons first birthday is May 15th....now here’s where things get difficult. I want to do his birthday party on the 11th but there’s a high chance that will be graduation weekend and I’m worried people won’t show up to his party then. I then thought about doing his birthday the 18th but am worried I will go into labor around there since I went early with him.

We live in the middle of nowhere (literally that’s our towns nickname) so we would really hate to have friends and family traveling 2 times in 2 weeks just for 2 separate celebrations. But I’m struggling to figure out how to combine a little boys 1st birthday party with a little girls baby shower

Edit: again we live in a really small town so finding a place to book is also really difficult especially around graduation. None of our houses are big enough to host a party and in early May it will still be chilly outside
