What is sneak peek? I see a lot of people talking about it and how it can determine the gender earlier but what is it exactly and does it cost extra?

It is a blood test that can detect the male gene in your blood if you are carrying a boy. They have a home test that is around $70 and a clinical version that is around $129-$149 depending on if you want fast results next day. The home test can be easily contaminated by a male even being in the same room when you are taking it. The clinical version is 99% accurate and has little to no room for contamination because it is taken in a lab by a trained phlebotomist. You can search sneak peek clinical and see if there is a location near you. You can get the test taken anytime after 9 weeks. I’m getting mine done next Wednesday at an ultrasound clinic because I don’t trust myself to not get the test contaminated.

It supposedly tells you early through a blood test I don’t think insurance covers it. You can look it up online but I’m scared to do it bc I read about a lady saying she thought she was having a girl the whole time she was pregnant and it turned out to be a boy 😩
