Food taking much linger to digest?

Anyone else feel like food is just sitting in their stomach? This is gross but I burped whatever I eat for hours after the fact and it feels like it's just sitting there like a boulder. Anyone else?

Progesterone slows down our digestion. This is why you have this issue along with lots of woman having constipation issues. Your body is trying to absorb all the nutrients for the little one that it can 😊

I have the same issue, I read you food digests slower when you are pregnant so more nutrients can go to the baby... I take rolaids advance and it usually helps w the bloating, gas, sour stomach and indigestion. Whenever I feel horrible I jus pop a rolaid lol... peppermint tea helps too

That was with my last pregnancy and sometimes it happens now. Sometimes I’d wake up with dinner still in my tummy 🤮
