She made her do what??

Tabasco

So I'm watching videos on YouTube and I watch a video of a woman making her daughter steal a woman's purse..

For one I don't see why you have kids if you you need to be stealing on top of that you making your child do it? No mam the little girl seems that she was use to doing it meaning she looked as if they do that type of activity all the time.

I personally believe that she should have her kids taken away her and goto jail!!! Her daughter needs to be in a Youth Program because from the looks of the video that Lil girl is headed for destruction!!!

Should parents who take their kids to partake in illegal crimes such as petty theft and etc, be considered a crime?

Should the kids also face some type of punishment? (If they're old enough to know it's wrong)

Isn’t it already a crime? And no the kids shouldn’t be charged if their parents are making them

I don't see how the parent wouldn't have been legally implicated. No, the child shouldn't be punished for the action they were being forced to do.

It’s a crime, the child wouldn’t be charged as she’s basically been trained My her mother to help take part in committing theft.Mother should be charged, and if she’s a single parent, child should be placed in the care of her legal guardian, or taken into care.

It is a crime to make a child or any other person for that matter, partake in a crime

At my husband’s previous school he had parents telling their kids to steal. Books, technology, anything. He had a couple instances where they caught the kid, brought the parents in for a meeting about it and overheard the parents scolding their kids for getting caught while they were walking away. Or laughing and telling them to keep stealing but not get caught. Unfortunately it seems common. Parents should be charged, not the kid.

Could it have been staged? Most people aren't dumb enough to put that kind of thing out on the internet where you can be identified. But if not, then yes she should at the very least be fined and the child should be evaluated in case there's trauma or abuse involved.

Ahh, there was a surveillance video a while at a jewelry store showing a child, maybe 5 or 6, sneeking behind the counter while her mother distracted the sales person, and snagging whatever she could grab. I think the mother went away for grand theft, disgusting that she literally trained the kid to be a thief
