Has anyone had a birth photographer?

With my first I wish I had some of those raw photos. This time around my mom got a really nice camera so she will be taking pictures. And she knows the rules... no below the knee pictures. I just want those moments right after captured and maybe a few of the struggle to remind myself not to fall for the baby fever a 3rd time. Lol.

I have been thinking about this a lot lately. Do I ask someone or do I hire someone, because this time I want the photos. It is my last and I wish I had done more with the first.

My doula did it. It was part of her job description. I am SO thankful because we wouldn’t have gotten any with out second birth without her. We had our second baby in our car and were lucky she was able to get anything with all of the chaos. Those photos are so special to me.
