Sex before 6 weeks?

I was told to wait until 6 weeks pp but I feel ready now at 3 weeks pp. anyone try sex sooner than 6 weeks?

They don’t say wait 6 weeks just for your vagina... they say it because of the wound that is left from the placenta.   Your cervix may not be completely closed yet and sex can introduce bacteria and cause infections.  Just. Wait.

I was cleared at 4 weeks pp with my 3rd baby. Doesn't hurt to call and ask your dr. See if you can get in sooner for your check up maybe.

I got cleared a few days ago. I’m 3 weeks pp. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I didn’t have any stitches or anything just a small tear. And I’m no longer bleeding.

If your gonna do it at least make sure you both shower 1st and use a condom. There are a lot of ppl that don’t wait the 6 weeks so just be extra safe about it and stop if anything hurts.

Not a good idea. Just because you feel ready on the outside doesn’t mean your insides are ready. Big risk of infection. And if you get pregnant again (because you’re so fertile now), then there are more risks to you AND to your next baby. Why risk that?

Don’t. Your risk of infection is very high and you’re very fertile. 
Think if it this way, after you gave birth you had a wound in your uterus the size of a dinner plate. That shit takes time to heal. Suck it up for a couple more weeks.

Please listen to your doctor. There’s a dinner plate size wound inside you and you’re likely to get an infection or pregnant again.
