I’m giving some reasons for this because I currently work at a vape store and the conditions are horrible. Everyone always asks us for a job but we turn them down. One of the many reasons working at at vape store isn’t glitzy like most people think is, if you cannot deal with being bitched out by customers because they broke something it’s obviously not the job for you. Rude customers can be found in just about all retail stores, but it seems to intensify due to the prices of the items you sell. Pay is another reason it’s not the best. If you aren’t paid under the table don’t expect much money, definitely not enough to pay for an apartment or rent. In my particular vape store I work at I’m the only female and my manager who is the only other worker is middle eastern. To tons of people because of the hours I work with no official breaks and only one day off a lot of them think I’m being over worked, I am. I’ve asked numerous times for us to hire extra help so I can have just the weekends off instead of one day. The manager and the owner do not listen to this as most owners or managers don’t listen either. That’s all for my little spill.
